Jamaica Day 3 and 4

Good morning Tuesday, Day 3!!! Today our plan was to spend the entire day hanging out at the pool and beach reading and relaxing! Thankfully the sun stayed out and the rain stayed away!

We quickly learned by looking around that one thing Jamaica had to offer was some of the PRETTIEST frozen drinks you have ever seen. The trick was learning the names of them and what to ask for when ordering at the swim up bar. It didn't take long to pick out our favorite!

I give you the infamous "Bob Marley" So pretty huh??!
Soaking in all that fun we must've forgotten to soak in some sun protection...we came in to find ourselves burnt to a crisp nearly! Luckily it was still manageable and didn't hurt too bad! Dinner that night was at the Italian restaurant Portofino. Another delicious meal and we even made a return visit before the end of the trip.

Every night at the resort the entertainment staff provided nightly entertainment and this particular night was Circus night. After dinner we walked over to check it out. The pictures did not turn out that well due to the lighting but it was a very neat show filled with acrobatics, clowns, a fire show, and lots of Jamaican dancing.

Wednesday Day 4:

Wednesday we scheduled the whole day as our excursion day. We headed out bright and early for an hour and a half van ride into Ocho Rios to visit Mystic Mountain for a rainforest canopy adventure, Jamaican bobsledding, Zip lining, and a hike through Dunn's River Falls. This was, by far, the best excursion we have ever taken! We enjoyed every minute of it, most especially the Zip line and Dunn's River Falls. I am extremely scared of heights so the canopy adventure was definitely not my cup of tea but I managed to make it through!

Me absolutely scared to tears!

The next stop was to Dunn's River to take a brisk hike through the falls. Seriously, THE. MOST. FUN. I have ever had! Sadly, our waterproof video camera that documented the entire experience got stolen on the plane ride home but I thought I would add a few low quality photos we had from a water camera

As well as what it is really supposed to look like in real life.

Once we returned to the resort late that evening, we headed up to the room and quickly got ready for dinner and the talent show that night. For dinner that night we chose the Japanese restaurant Himitsu. It was really good and our waiter Knashville was so much fun!

The talent show wrapped up day 4 and we were beat from a full exhilarating day!
